- Industrial world that most of the burden in the form of induction motors have an influence on the electrical system due spread of all PLN induction motor has a power factor less than one. With a power factor of less than one or tend to be lagging (current lags the voltage) then the network will be inductive, in other words the value of the losses will be even greater. PLN implement minimum targets for network power factor is 0.85 lagging. With this determinate the network by a factor of less than 0.85 lagging power will be fined by PLN. The design of automatic capacitor banks to compensate for inductive loads in the company is not always the solution for the company to pay a fine to the PLN and also to improve the quality of the power grid in order the better.
