  • Labor is a very important factor in building industrial development. Therefore labor factor must exist in every industry, especially industrial production process is still done manually by humans, one of which GNP Snack industry. The problems that arise in industry GNP Snack is no fixed number of workers, particularly in the production process. This could hamper the achievement of the target industry, the level of productivity. Because the target is not working optimally, it is necessary to research on the determination of the optimal amount of labor by measuring the cycle time for every activity Ceriping Cassava production process to obtain the standard time. In determining the standard time, of course, the adjustment factors and factors to consider leniency. That is with Westinghouseâ��s system that drive 4 assessment on factors such as skill, effort, condition, and consistency. Where the latter will obtain the theoretical amount of labor in every activity on the production of Ceriping Cassava by 8 labor with details on stripping activities (3), cutting (1 person), frying (2 people), packaging and binding package (2 people).
