  • Background : Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is metabolic disorder characterized by chorinc hyperglicemia and impaired metabolism of carbohydrate, lipid ,and protein. In type 2 diabetes often be found conditions of diabetic dyslipidemia. One of management in diabetes is high dietary fiber or resistant starch. Gembili is one source of foodstuffs that contain resistant starch and dietary fiber in high quantities. Objective : To find out the effect of gembili flour on triglyceride levels in streptozotocin and nicotinamide induced rats.
