  • The rapid development of an urban, especially the city of Denpasar, also increase the use of motor vehicles that have an impact on the service road to its decline. It is necessary for the management to improve service road. Quickbird imagery with high spatial resolution can help and offer an alternative in the management process. The use of these images can help in the process of observing the condition of the road and surrounding activities. This study aimed to determine the ability of Quickbird imagery in intercepting geometrical data and design road road management recommendations in Denpasar Road management to build on the value of the ratio between traffic volume and road capacity. The data collection method that is supporting the geometrical data and the data of land use is done by visual interpretation on Quickbird imagery and ground directly. Data processing is done by the Geographic Information System that facilitates the tabular data synchronization to spatial data From the results, it can be determined the accuracy of QuickBird imagery to eavesdropping urban land use was 89.69%, while for the geometric accuracy of the data intercepts a road width of 97.72%. In general, the condition of roads in the city of Denpasar has a poor level of service below a C, even some roads have on the level of service F during peak hours. Management imposed on the road - the road in general is setting traffic lights and parking, installation of signs, and the improvement of road geometry
