- An area will give not only direct benefits but also indirect benefits from the existence of resources. The reservoir which is one of potential resources area needs economic valuation for optimalization of benefits for the surrounding society. By information of valuation, the government is expected to increase the resources area quality. In this research, the economic valuation of Waduk Penjalin which is one of potential resources in Paguyangan Region, Brebes Regency, Central Java used two kinds of data, those are spatial data and non spatial data. The non spatial data consists of questioner for option value, bequest value, and existence value and the last is the sum of society rates. While, spatial data consists of Google Earth images and information for metric square of Waduk Penjalin. This processing for non spatial data in the research was using Contingent Valuation Method (CVM). The last result of questioner in option value, bequest value, and existence value had known as Willingness to Pay (WTP) or desirable for paying to the resources. The total estimation economic value in processing was obtained from the sum of questioner value results. Furthermore analysis regression used in this processing was Microsoft Excell and Borland C++ was used to estimate the value. The result of regression analysis and calculation in estimation economic value gained estimate value for three zones on the nearest zone (0 � 100 m) is Rp.3.262.905.968, the middle zone (100 � 200 m) is Rp.2.621.582.433 and the farthest (200 � 300 m) is Rp.3.064.598.365.
