- APTA PT Arkananta Pratista (Ketapang Site) is a company that produces coal. In the production process of PT. ARKA, it has 4 main types of heavy equipment. those are excavator, Dump Truck, Dozer, and Drilling. If the stone material is too large to be transported, it can damage the unit, especially on the part excavator bucket. Bucket is a major component in Excavator unit. if the bucket is broken, the solution is to fix. Bucket is an assembly of several parts, which are: bucket teeth, bucket pin and bushing bucket. Bucket repairs can be done on the repair parts that can still be improved and replacement parts. Improvements made to the method clading process or can be referred to the addition of meat on a worn area, then carried on turning and grinding to make the size and shape according to standard. The tools necessary for these improvements are: welding machines, lathes and grinding machines. Bucket improvement in PT Arkananta APTA Pratista can minimize unit breakdown conditions. Because if the replacement part is done, time to wait for a new part will be longer. Moreover, it can save the cost if done with the replacement of new parts.
