- PT. Santos Jaya Abadi is a company engaged in the beverage industri instant coffee.This plant have totality power of 2,000 kVA and the power are used to supply the all plant. In this final task will discuss the analysis of power loss and voltage drop and planning improvements. The improvement was done by change the feeder cable with a cable which resistance is small. The improvement process is simulated using ETAP software 6.0.0 . The analysis there are many somethings that need to be improvment. For example, the size of the cable on the SDP - WWTP which had to be replaced diameter of 185 mm 2 to 240 because have big voltage losses. Using cable do not fit make losses voltage is less than 5% Vline and make resulting loss of power of 2,4kW. Improvment is done with the cable replacement can reduce the voltage losses up to 3% Vline and reduce power losses up to 6,6 kW. Cost of cable replacement investment is Rp 629.175.000,- the investment cost is estimated to be back in 14 years.
