Daftar Isi:
- The study aims to determine the effect of changes in amount of feed intake on creatinin levels in Kacang Goat. The materials used were six male kacang goats aged average of one point five years. They were devided into two groups A and B. Goats kept on slat system measuring 1,5 m x 1 m with dining and drinking in citizen farm of Ngelo, Potorono, Banguntapan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. When period I group A and B given ad libitum feed during 51 days and period II the goats still given ad libitum feed, but in group B was decreased 50% of maintenance during 43 days. Intakes of feed consumed is recorded every day during research. Blood sampling taken every at least each period before the animals were fed in the morning. The difference of creatinin levels analysed by t- Test statistic method. The results showed that in the first period consumption of dry matter in group A and B were 0,78±0,14 kg/day and 0,79±0,02 kg/day, then in period II 0,78±0,17 kg/day and 0,42±0,20 kg/day. Average goat creatinin levels in the last of first period of group A and group B were 0,71±0,14 mg/dL and 0,78±0,42 mg/dL. Creatinin level of group B showed real difference became 1,41±0,20 mg/dL after given food intake 50% of maintenance during 43 days (p<0.05). That level was showed the higher value than creatinin level of group A given ad libitum feed intake in the same period, 0,97±0,17 mg/dL (p<0.05). Based on the research can be concluded that the feed intake can to affect creatinin levels goat.
