  • The development of Information and communication technology (ICT) has encourage Yogyakarta municipality to apply E-government by making community services standard based information and communication technology. This services are aim to work up public services in Yogyakarta municipality. One of them is Information and complaining services unit (UPIK). The aim of this study are to describe UPIK in Yogyakarta municipality, community utilization and perception about UPIK in sub-district of Suryatmajan. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. Primary data obtained through indepth interview whose informans are selected purposively. Technical analysis is conducted using a qualitative descriptive analysis. The result showed that UPIK is establised in 2004 as a means of communication betweenthe citizen and the government which aims to accommodate all about information, complaint, question, suggestion, or critism.
