  • Apiculture is commonly practiced on Agroforestry system in Indonesia. Availability of sustainable nectar and pollen produced by bee forage plant is important factor in apiculture management. The research was done to know the species of plant producing nectar or pollen and the potency of the plants as beeforage in Sambak Village. A belt transect was set in community forest and state forest in Sambak Village to know the species of honey bee plant. Fiveteen plots of 20 m x 20 m with the distance between plots of 50 m were made in the transect. The species of plants were determined . To know the potency of honey bee plants producing nectar and pollen, plant inventory was done in 30 units of albizia-coffee agroforestry system in community forest. The results showed that 11 species of forest plant, 1 species of non-wood forest product plant, 12 species of multipurpose tree species/MPTS, 3 species of fruit tree, and 6 species of understory schrub were found in Sambak Village. The potency of honey bee plant was 331,7 individuals/ha of albizia producing pollen and 1.237,5 individuals/ha of coffee producing nectar. Honey bee plant is abundant in Sambak Village. Therefore development of business-scale apiculture is quite possible.
