The effect of radiotherapy can impair oral tissue vascularization system so the blood supply to the periodontal tissues is reduced and the activity of leukocytes in the gingival crevicular fluid will decrease. The gingival crevicular becomes more susceptible to bacterial invasion and increases the number of bacteria. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in the number of colonies of bacteria Porphyromonas gingivalis gingival crevicular fluid before and after radiotherapy 20 Gy accumulated dose in patients with head neck cancer in RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta.
