- Along with the growth of citizens and newcomers in Yogyakarta, one kind of bussines which also growing is laundry. In most laundry outlets, laundry transaction data is only recorded on notes. This way is not efficient, assuming that technology is developing very fast. In common laundry outlets, generally consumers or customers who want to wash clothes should come directly to the outlet, bringing their clothes with them. Once finished, customer should come back to the laundry outlet to pick up their clothes. For a busy coustumer, this procedure can be said not effective because they have to repeatedly visit the laundry outlet. Based on the above constraints, then a Web-Based Information Systems with Facilities Laundry SMS Gateway was built as an improvement efforts in managing data and facilitating consumer laundry transaction with reservations through SMS. This information system is expected to be able to manage the data including the data of owner, data of clerk, data of customer, data of courier, data of types of clothing, data of perfume, data of packet, data of service, data of transaction, data of transaction detail and able to handle the reservation pick-up via Short Message Service and reports making. Reports that can be produced by the information system are reports of the daily reservation list, daily courier list, the list of new subscribers per month, a list of transactions and transaction detail per month.
