- Sex and gender are two things that can not be ignored in feminist studies. Sex is a division of the two types of human beings based on ownership of certain biological organs obtained by nature. Instead, gender is a difference in behavior between men and women are socially constructed, the differences created by humans (men and women) through social and cultural processes that long. Studies have shown that women's symbolic world including literary world has become one of the rides formation, institutionalization, and the preservation of the dominant gender ideology. Literature as one of the symbolic arena and cultural institutions, proved to have a major impact in shaping, institutionalize, preserve, direct, promote, and operate ideology or gender. This study uses a collaborative collection of short stories 1 Perempuan 14 Laki- Laki as objects of study because of its unique creative process in its formulation, ie a woman who collaborated with a different man in each short story. Collaborative collection of short stories 1 Perempuan 14 Laki-Laki were analyzed using analysis of feminist literary criticism is adapted to the concept of reading as a woman to reveal how women are portrayed in it. This analysis emphasizes on the figure, women's issues, feminist ideas, as well as aspects of language. Analysis of figures divide the characters in the collaborative collection of short stories 1 Perempuan 14 Laki-Laki into pro-feminist and anti-feminist groups. In addition, an analysis of women's issues and feminist ideas in a collaborative collection of short stories 1 Perempuan 14 Laki-Laki gives an overview of the issues facing women and their reactions to these issues. Furthermore, analysis of aspects of language that focuses on the selection of diction in a collaborative collection of short stories 1 Perempuan 14 Laki-Laki shows the inequality between women and men in both relational ties, became the subject of one active while others become passive objects. A series of analyzes in this study showed a collaborative collection of short stories 1 Perempuan 14 Laki-Laki as one of the literary charged feminist values that show the struggle by discourse of women as members of society to achieve social order society who have an awareness of gender inequity and lead to a genderequal society.
