- This study aimed to determine the effect of Toksoplasmanuur and Intertrim®LA for histopathological kidney and spleen of mice infected withToxoplasma gondiiRH strain as takizoit 1x103. This study used 22 Swiss female mice, age 2 months and the average weight 25-30 grams, were divided into 4 groups: group I (control), group II (infected by takizoit T. gondii), group III (infected T. gondiiand given Toxoplasmanuur) as much, and group IV (infected T. gondii and given Intertrim®LA). Number of mice in group I and II 4 tails, whereas group III and IV amounted to 7 animals.Giving Toxoplasmanuur on day-1 by 8 mg/mice/day for six days in a row. Giving Intertrim®LA on day2 as much as 0,001 mg/kg/day for seven days in a row. Kidney and spleen harvesting first requests after the mice die at necropsy. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that mice given Toxoplasmanuur died on day 4, 5, 6 and on histological examination, the organs become congested. Mice with Intertrim®LA were euthanased on day 21, histopatological examination the organ showed no change. The results showed that the use of drugs Intertrim®LA effective against T. gondii, but the use of traditional medicine Toxoplasmanuur ineffective.
