  • This reasearch aims to analyze the pattern and economic structure with income distribution inequality intersubdistrict in Sukoharjo Regency. Data used is secondary data that are the GRDP, GRDP per Capita data, and resident amount data consist of subdistrict and Sukoharjo Regency during ten years from 2002 - 2011. Analysis tools used are Region Typology, Williamson Index, Entropy Theil Index, Regression Curve Estimation and Pearson Correlation. Result of Region Typology analysis, Sukoharjo Regency divisible into three region there is: (1) Subdistricts of Kartasura, Grogol, and Sukoharjo included in subdistrics high growth and high income, (2) Subdistricts of Mojolaban, Tawangsari, and Bendosari included in subdistrics high growth but low income, (3) Subdistricts of Baki, Weru, Polokarto, Nguter, Bulu and Gatak included in subdistrics low growth and low income. Based on Williamson Index analysis and Entropy Theil Index analysis obtained that level of income distribution inequality Sukoharjo Regency that is mean 0,67977 for the Williamson and 0,16523 for Entropy Theil. During the research period, the income distribution inequality increased. Kuznets hypothesis of the inverted U not proven at Sukoharjo Regency because there is no significant relationship between per capita income growth with Entropy Theil Index. Based on Pearson correlation, there was no significant relationship between economic growth with Williamson Index or Entropy Theil Index.
