  • Appropriate amount of labor will determine the smoothness of the production process at the secondary processing unit PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IX (wholsale) Banaran Coffe particularly on packaging work station. Any determination of the number of workers is expected to increase productivity of labor based on workload generated to resemble one of the products produced Banaran Coffe 250 gram packs. Productivity performance of workers is a matter that must be considered because it will affect the output or capacity of the products produced each day. For that, need a way to get the maximum output that can be produced is to examine the effectiveness of a system or way of working of an employee in the packaging work stations were observed, one of which is to take measurements of the resource workers using time study. The method used in this study using the time to study for the normal time and standard time. Furthermore, each standard time each work element is used to determine the amount of labor in the packing work station. Results of the determination of the amount of labor used to analyze the workload of each element comparison of work packing stations. This time measurement is done directly by using a stopwatch as a tool and as a method of repetitive timing observations. The results obtained show that the actual number of workers who are currently on the secondary unit Banaran coffee plant has enough to complete the work on the seven elements of the existing work in packaging products packaging Banaran Coffe 250 grams for 6 months ahead.
