- The purpose of this research is to know the prevalence of strongylosis and parascariasis in third place, Parangtritis, Tawangmangu, and Malioboro horses and the causes factor. A total of 134 faecal samples were used in this research. Identification of eggs in faecal sample used natif and centrifuge method, whereas processing data used Chi square method that aims to determine whether there is prevalence differences among the three places. Based on identification result and statistical analysis showed the highest prevalence of strongylosis occurred in Tawangmangu with prevalence degree 73,5 % and the highest parascariasis occurred in Parangtritis with prevalence degree 8%. Analysis of data with Chi-square indicated of differences prevalence of strongylosis and no significant differences of paraascariasis. In an effort to reduce the incidence of horse helmintiasis, should be given socialization to society about proper horse management.
