- Many studies have examined about demand and supply for money, this research aims to analyze about dynamism of demand for money in Indonesia, by using Cointegration and Error Correction Mechanism, to answer the question, does the demand for money in long term cointegrated with monetary variables, to show how much it�s elasticity in short term, and examining does the theory about demand for money suitable in Indonesia, so the monetary authority be able to make appropriate policies in order to control the money supply, this research�s products are in long term the demand for money tend to inelastic toward income level and price level, then, elasticity of demand for money is elastic toward deposit rate in shot term.
