- Production efficiency is the one of the purpose manufacturing company. Production efficiency creates competitive advantage products and profit optimization. Efficiency products could be reached by doing production planning appropriately. This would imply to the decrease of total cost and increase company profit. The aim of this research is to know the total production combination 2012 and demand forecasting 2013 PT MAJ. The right production planning has led to efficiency and optimize support of company profit. Linear programming simplex solver method has been used to solve allocation product resource problem in this research. Allocation product resource might lead to the optimal production planning. For this research the data was taken from operations PT MAJ 2012. The result, from nine products as sample there were only three products recommended to be producted and optimized. They are AR, PR and ALM that contribute significant to company profit.
