- This research is aimed at determining about the Legal Entity On Cooperatives in a Baitul Maal Wa Tamwil (BMT) in accordance with Law No: 25 in 1992 about Cooperation which has been revised to Law No: 17 in 2012 about Cooperatives, related to Syariah Cooperatives in Accordance with The Decree of The Minister of the Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises No: 91/Kep/M.KUKM/IX/2004 on The Implementation Guidelines of The business activities of Syariah Cooperatives Financial Services, to find out about the legal responsibility and consequence for BMT Management and about who will be responsible for the activities of BMT. This review is his study is a normative juridical which is based on secondary data as the primary data source. The field research was also carried out to support the library research. Data were analyzed qualitatively. The analysis is presented descriptively. The research shows that BMT Artha Amanah Sanden, Bantul is a BMT with Legal Entity on Cooperatives which is established in accordance with Law No: 25 in 1992 about Cooperatives. BMT with syari�ah deviden in its business activities referring to the Decree of the Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises No: 91/Kep/M.KUKM/IX/2004 about The Implementation Guidelines of The business activities of Syariah Cooperatives Financial Services
