  • The Northeast Java Sea Basin is one of the Tertiary back-arc sedimentary basins situations in Java Sea. This basin has a high potential of oil and gas in carbonate reservoir. The research area located in the west part of this basin, whose contains tectonically the Tuban â�� Camar through and Central Deep depression respectively. The potential reservoir around this basin is the Kujung Formation. The best reservoir facies are found in patch reef that located on the platform area to the north of Kujung High. This research is to try the application of geostatistics in determining the some subsurface parameters in reservoir zone. The data consists of two wells log data named KD-1 and SK-1 and it also supported by 23 seismic sections (post stack data). By using the Geostatistics Environment GS 9 + software and other common soft wares, we could assess and study the distribution of Petrophysical parameters in the reservoir zones. The Co-kriging technique can solve the problem in correlation of parameter (velocity and porosity) that due to limited data.From this research we can more accurately made the porosity map and the water saturation map for the reservoir zone. These maps have a valuable means to extend the exploration play in the investigated area.
