  • Psychological Capital (Psycap) is an emerging construct that represent an individualâ��s positive state of psychological development, and is characterized by the individualâ��s hope, efficacy, optimism and resiliency. This study examines the effect of budgetary participation on manager performance directly or indirectly through Psycap. A survey questionnaire was administered to first line and middle-level managers in PT Askes (Persero) Divisi Regional I. Data were analyzed using path analysis. The results show that budgetary participation is positively associated with managerâ��s performance, both directly and indirectly through Psychological Capital (Psycap) in PT Askes (Persero) Divisi Regional I.
