  • Profâ��Djo fan-base is one of K-Pop fan-bases of idol band FT Island, South Korean Band. Profâ��Djo is born in 2010 with background to be representative fan-base for Yogyakarta area. The communication created in the group is an important factor to make the group survives. Group communication is related with communication process which is a form of members participation. A good communication process is needed to accomplish it. Group communication process consists of several important elements, which is communicator, message, communicant, and feedback. From that communication process, it can be seen the positive and negative attitude of members formed by members participation in planning fan-base activities, executing the plans, until evaluating the activities. The method used in this research is qualitative research method by using case study to figure out how fan-base members communicate and the form of the members participation. Researcher will collect the date by having interview intensively and doing participatory observation toward informant with purposive sampling technique. This method is expected to provide the data as actual as possible so the researcher can describe related group communication, which is the process of fan-base members communication and the form of members participation. The result of this research shows that a good communication between members will effect clearly in members participation, in physical presence and ideas. In the other side, a good attitude in communication process will support a good relationship in group to accomplish the goal of the group together.
