- Employees who have a high commitment will see the work not as a burden or a duty but a means to work and develop themselves. One of the factors that influence employee commitment is job satisfaction. This study aimed to see the effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment in PT. XYZ. The hypothesis that is applied has the influence of job satisfaction on organizational commitment (affective, continuance, normative). The method used in this study using the Pearson product moment and multiple regression analysis. Pearson product moment correlation coefficient is used to see between the independent variables with the dependent variable. The result showed a positive effect of job satisfaction on affective commitment and normative commitment. Job satisfaction affects affective commitment on the nature of the work aspect of 0.037 (p � 0.05) and the communication aspect of 0.002 (p � 0.05). While the positive effect of job satisfaction on normative commitment on pay aspects of 0.033 (p � 0.05).
