- Prambanan temple is a major attraction for tourists, but many tourist found that activity in the green open spaces Prambanan temple complex. Green open space is an important complementary element in the Prambanan temple complex. This study aims to determine the perceptions and activities of visitors while in a green open space around the Jonggrang temple, Prambanan temple complex. Data collection was conducted in June-August 2012 with 100 respondents. Research sites in the green open spaces Jonggrang temple, Prambanan temple complex. Research variables were perceptions of visitors to the green open spaces of green open spaces include aesthetics, comfort of green open space, amenities of green open space, condition of green open space and visitor activity. Tools used for data collection was questionnaire and analysis using a scale. Chi-square analysis is used to determine the relationship between the perception of the visitor activity. Perceptions of visitors to the green open spaces included in both categories with a score of 3,53. Based on the four categories of visitor perceptions about the aesthetic green space is in both categories with a score of 3,73
