- Organizational leadership highlights that transformational leadership has four dimensions: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, individualized consideration. The ability of leaders to properly implement transformational leadership dimensions may lead to an increase of organizational commitment. Suprisingly, recent studies reveals the effect of transformational leadership to the organizational commitment indirectly affected empowerment. Therefore, this study using a sample of 150 usable questionnaires gathered from employees who have worked in PT Samudera Indonesia Ship Management, Jakarta. Further, the outcomes of regression analysis showed that the empowerment mediates the effect of transformational leadership on organizational commitment.
