- Bali starlings are endemic birds with Appendix 1 status in Bali, according to (International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources) IUCN list that in recent years get serious extinction threat. In 2005, the government through Permenhut no. 19 as well as regulations issued permits allowing the Bali Starling breeding by the society. Those permenhut could reduce the direct pressure in the nature. After that issued, many Bali Starling captive breeding places in many cities in Indonesia
