  • The purpose of this study was to understand the auction vehicles as rahn objects at Syariâ��ah Pawnshop in Sleman regency and to understand the suitability of a motor vehicle auction as rahn objects with a fatwa number 25/DSN- MUI/III/2002 DSN. This study used empirical legal method with a conceptual approach on the implementation of Shariâ��ah Pawnshop in Sleman regency. Empirical legal research was done by studying in the field to look for and determine the source of law in the sociological sense of the desires and interests that was exist in the community. Data from the field was collected by asking a few questions which were answered in written or orally in order to obtain the valid data. The collected data were analyzed descriptively in a form of research to describe phenomena in the field using qualitative methods, ie the data was stated by the respondent in written or orally as well as the real behaviors, it was researched and studied to be a unified whole. Based on the results, it was gained some conclusion as follows: Firstly, the auction vehicles as rahn objects of Syariâ��ah Pawnshop in Sleman regency were done through several stages of preparation in accordance with the applicable procedures of the Islamic principles. Those stages are: determining the date of the auction, announcing the auction, and determining the amount and reestablishment, implementation, administration of vehicle auctions, automobile auction procedures, and sales procedures. Secondly, the auction was in accordance with Islamic principles and fatwa DSN 25/DSN-MUI/III/2002 about rahn.
