  • Background: Proper diet modification is a method to increase intake in patients with DM type 2 in hospitals. Diet modification usually implemented at Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital is liquid extra feeding for DM patients enriched with tempe containing slow absorbed carbohydrate, arginin and isoflavon much needed by DM patients.
