Daftar Isi:
- This study aims to analyze the geographical distribution of the concentration of Large and Medium Enterprise (LME) was sites in Indonesia. From this study are expected to be known. (1) Changes in the concentration range of LME in Indonesia between 2001 and 2010 (2) Differentiation between agglomeration and cluster locations of LME (3) Dynamitation of LME spatial distribution in Indonesia (4) The linkage between the LME growth and city agglomeration (5) Variables that influence LME spatial concentration in Indonesia. LME concentration are measure by using variables: number of labor and value added. Methods of analysis using GIS, Klassen Typology, Inequality Index. Correlation and Discriminant. Model analysis referred to Kuncoro (2012). Using time series data of LME in Indonesia between 2000-2010 were obtained the following results.(1) There were no changes in the concentration of LME location. (2) LME Group of Jakarta EIA and Surabaya EIA is an agglomeration whereas cluster found in Bandung EIA, Semarang EIA, Surakarta EIA, Medan EIA and Batam EIA.(3) LME Development were increasingly concentrated or LME interregion disparity more higher.(4) There were found the relationship between development of LME concentration and urban growth. (5) The results of discriminant analysis explain that population density and income level are the main determinant of major industrial site selection being in Indonesia
