- Analysis of the determinants of economic growth in the region is very important to do as the main basis for the formulation of regional economic development policy. Determinants of regional economic growth affect each other mutually, so be aware of how much influence each of these factors in determining local economic growth. One of the determinants of regional economic growth is infrastructure, because of the presence of good infrastructure is expected to stimulate the business will invest in direct investments so as to enhance growth. The purpose of this research is to study and analyze, infrastructure linkages with other sectors of the economy, power index and the degree of sensitivity of infrastructure deployment, infrastructure generated multiplier effects on other sectors of the economy, the elasticity of output to final demand infrastructure and the effect of infrastructure investment on economic growth in the province Central Sulawesi. The data used in this study is the input-output table of Central Sulawesi in 2005 and as representing the infrastructure sector is the electricity, water and construction in the classification of 50 sectors and in the classification of 9 sectors that represent the infrastructure sector is the electricity, gas and water supply and construction/building. Analysis tools are used to analyze the role of infrastructure in the economy is the inputoutput model. The results of this study are categories of infrastructure sectors have a high backward linkages with other sectors of the economy of Central Sulawesi, while the category of infrastructure sectors which have a high forward linkages with other sectors of the electricity sector only. All sectors of the infrastructure category has spread power index value greater than one, while the index value of the degree of sensitivity of these sectors only power sector infrastructure category that has more value than one. Category of infrastructure sector has a multiplier value of output and income are the biggest sector of construction/building, while the value of the largest employment multiplier in the sector of infrastructure categories based classification 9 sectors are electricity, gas and water supply all sectors of the infrastructure categories have the output elasticity is greater than one or elastic, but only the water sector which has a value of the output elasticity is less than one. Impact of investment in infrastructure category on output, income and employment have a positive impact on the economy and if the investment funds were allocated only to one category of infrastructure sectors, the construction/building that provides the greatest impact on output, income and employment
