- This research attempts to tracing the base thought of existential phenomenology method and practice it in daily life. Therefore, this research integrates both of library research and field research study. In practice level, reseacher tries to practicing in how existential phenomenology method tracing and describing the existential experience and meaning of homeless in Yogyakarta streets. In the mode of first, this research proved that existential phenomenology research have a lot of differences compared to the other variant of phenomenological method. Second, the tracing of existential experience and meaning of homeless in Yogyakarta streets through existential phenomenology research may describing their �state-of-being-in the world� in the mode of etre pour soi (being-for-itself) and etre en soi (being-in-itself). Furthermore, the concerned research of homeless in Yogyakarta streets may describing their otentity dimension, also their mauvaise foi (bad faith) dimension.
