  • The aim of this research was to examine estrous response and estrogen hormones profile on Kacang and Bligon does by using synchronization single progesterone hormones preparate CIDR for 13 days. This research was used seven Kacang and Bligon does and one buck. Blood samples were collected four time: the day before CIDR performed (H0), one day before CIDR releasing (H12), on estrous (H17), and after next estrous cycle (H37). Serum and blood plasma separated immediately after blood taken then stored into the freezer at - 20° C of temperature until estrogen hormone test. Estrous respone calculated by chi square formulation and estrogen hormone analysis calculated by Enzyme Linked Immunoabsorbant Assay (ELISA) method. Estrous response observed by detecting appearance visual signs by using teaser buck. Based on the results obtained that estrus synchronisation using CIDR implant in kacang and bligon does showed significant difference (Pâ�¤0.01). Estrous persentage of Kacang and Bligon does were 85,7% and 71,4% respectively. Initial of estrous appearance was faster in bligon does group (40.2 ± 19.3 h) than kacang does group (52.6 ± 18.4 h). Estrous duration in kacang and bligon does were (24.0 ± 8.6 h) and (34.6 ± 15.4 h) respectively. Hormone profile during estrus showed that concentration of estrogen hormone was higher in kacang does 183.74 ± 149.16 pg/mL than bligon does 108.129 ± 59.02 pg/mL. The estrous indicated by the high estrogen hormone concentration. However, the estrogen hormone concentration of the does estrous was about 94.127 pg/mL to 418.368 pg/mL, and the does without estrous was 20.17 pg/mL to 60.163 pg/mL. It conclusion the CIDR implantation in single form has significant effects on estrous response and estrogen hormone concentration. The estrous response and estrogen hormone concentration were better in Kacang does.
