Daftar Isi:
- Semarang is one of the city in Indonesia which has a fairly rapid development progress. Development that occurs can provide positive and negative impacts. The negative impact construction of the reduced width green open space (RTH), is resulting in environmental degradation. Green space in urban areas has a function as a source of oxygen and as a counterweight provider microclimate. Remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems are expected to be used to evaluate and give direction of the development of green open space in the city of Semarang. Remote sensing data used in this study is the image of ALOS AVNIR-2. The purposes of this study are to 1) assessiment the ability of ALOS AVNIR-2 imagering the study RTH in Semarang, 2) evaluation the existing distribution of green space in the city of Semarang, 3) determination the needs and direction of the development of green space in the city of Semarang. The parameters used in this study is the need of oxygen, the distribution of the level of discomfort, the green cover in the study area. Distribution of existing green space obtained from the multispectral classification with maximum likelihood method. Oxygen demand was calculated at each village and further analysis with existing oxygen availability of green space. Distribution microclimate obtained from direct measurements in the study area, while the green cover classes derived from NDVI index transformation. Referrals RTH development overlay results obtained from the quantitative approach of multilevel berjenjang third parameter after being given the dignity and weight according to its influence on the direction of the development of green space. The results of the accuracy test reaches 90% of land use. Existing green space in the area of research in an area of 9967.87 hectares in 2009 to produce oxygen 5035.76 tons per day, while the oxygen demand in areas of research in 2009 amounted to 1705.288 tons per day. Basically the oxygen demand in the study area can already be fulfilled by supplying of oxygen from the existing green space, but in fact the spread of green space in the study area does not spread evenly as needed throughout the city of Semarang, so necessary to the development direction of green space in order to evenly spreading according to need in Semarang City. From the results of modeling the direction of the development of green space are prioritized into 5 classes, so the priority (Village Tawangsari, Fur Lor, Gabahan, Brass, and Tembalang Tanjungmas), priority (Village Bake Lor, Plamongan Sari, Fishpond Harjo, Banbankerep, Ngaliyan and Away), is quite priority (Village Terboyo Wetan, Terboyo Kulon, Fishpond Rejo, Mangkang Kulon and Mangunharjo), less priority (Village Rowosari, Bulusan, Tinjomoyo, boarding and Banyan) and priority (Sukorejo Village, Conn. Rejo, Mijen, Pakintelan and Wonoplumbon). Referrals RTH development conducted at each class of land use in each village in the city of Semarang. Selection of type of green space to development adapted to the availability of land in the area to be used as guidance.
