- The objective of this research was to study about the cryopreservation of ram semen using Tris extender enriched with soybean lecithin cryoprotectant through slow freezing and vitrification. This was carried out in four stages. In Experiment 1, the effect of semen washing and soybean lecithin level in Tris extender on the ram spermatozoa quality stored at 5°C. Semen was washed with Krebs-Ringer phosphate glucose and diluted with Tris-soybean extender. The combined treatment of semen washing and soybean lecithin levels did not perform any significant interaction
