  • This dissertation has heading â��Bedhaya Purnama Jati dance on human being philosophy perspective relevance to Indonesia character building.â�� The Bedhaya Purnama Jati dance is group dance which is danced by nine girls which express theme of advices about the human being way of life in order to always get the bright way. The theme of Bedhaya Purnama Jati dance has source at the Tasrikngalamâ��s knuckle, a book with writing Javanese characters Raden Nganten Nata Sugitaâ��s fate, which is copied by K.R.T. Sasmintadipura hisself, choreograferâ��s Bedhaya Purnama Jati dance. The dance was created in 1992 and the first time performed to celebrate the seventysecond birthday of B.R.Ay. Pujakusuma. The dance as a performance art still fetch the standard of regulation or the constraction regulation of the Bedhaya Purnama Jati dance has source at dance form, dance technique, and dance style of the Yogyakarta palace. The study aims to research the base of philosophy of Bedhaya Purnama Jati dance, to analize the view of human being philosophy in Bedhaya Purnama Jati dance, and to reflect relevance the view of monodualitas human being with Indonesian character building. The research of Bedhaya Purnama Jati dance uses the base theory of monodualitas of human being of Anton Bakker, that is contact of body and sould, contact of immanent and transcendent, contact of individual and social, contact of statism and dynamism. The dance also has monodualitas which equal with monodualitas of human being, and relevance with Indonesian character building, so the essence of Bedhaya Purnama Jati dance to be equal with the essence of human being. This research uses quality methods with technique of data gathering through library study, observation, interviewing, and analysis of human being philosophy. The technique of data analysis through verstehen about form and structure of the dance, continued interpretation of meaning with hermeneutic analysis, then heuristic analysis, so it be found new theory about contact of the essence of Bedhaya Purnama Jati dance and the essence of human being. The result of the research indicate that: (1). The base of the philosophy analysis of Bedhaya Purnama Jati dance is be alive of human being, that is contact the essence of human being with be alive in the world is ontologic base, contact the experience, the idea, with the religious belief of human being is epistemologic base, contact the objective value and the subjective value is aksiologic base. (2). The view of human being philosophy in Bedhaya Purnama Jati dance is the whole unit and harmonice between wadhah and content, rasa sejati and pramana, henenghening and awas-éling, mandheg and milir. The human being monodualitas is very important to the Indonesian character building, as the basic of character education of the noble character. (3). The Bedhaya Purnama Jati dance relevance with Indonesian character building because of the view human being philosophy, it has the values which can build the Indonesian noble character.
