  • Learning motivation of junior high school student has important influence in learning activity in the school. The purpose of this research is to reveal the influence of group counseling concerning with learning motivation of junior high school student. The design of this research is experimental with untreated control group design with pretest and posttest. The experiment group is given a treatment by group counseling meanwhile control group is given a treatment meanwhile control group is not get a treatment during the research. The experiment group and control is given learning motivation scale before and after the treatment. Subjects are consisting of seventh year students of junior high school. The instrument that is used in collecting the data is learning motivation scale. Technique analysis the data that is used in this research is t-test. The result of this study shows that group counseling can improve junior high school studentsâ�� learning motivation.There is significant difference of studentsâ�� learning motivation between experiment group and control group (t=12,189
