- Parking space needed, bus stop facility, and pedestrian facilities in SMPN 5 Yogyakarta still less attention so that it will provide the conditions inconvenience to the users of private vehicles, public transport, and pedestrians. All three facilities must be planned well so that can give the best solution for the problems. The purpose this study is: knows characteristics and parking spaces needed in SMPN 5 Yogyakarta, know the needs bus stop facilities, knowing and determine the need for pedestrian facilities, and formulate recommendations that can be applied to address the issues raised in SMPN 5 Yogyakarta. The research was conducted over three days, from Monday 15th October until Wednesday 17th October 2012 from 10:00 am to 05:00 pm. The method used is a direct calculation of the exit and entry vehicles that have an interest in SMPN 5 Yogyakarta, pedestrian flow, the flow of vehicles, the number of public transport passengers and interview respondents passengers of public transport in the region SMPN 5 Yogyakarta. Parking cars in SMPN 5 Yogyakarta has a capacity of 54 vehicles. Maximum parking accumulation occurs at 13:30 to 13:45 pm as many as 70 vehicles, thus the parking space available is not sufficient to accommodate the car at the time of maximum accumulation. Recommendations were implemented in order to accommodate the growth of the existing parking lot is given any additional parking spaces available area on east side Kridosono stadion with effective area 500 m2 with capacity up to 40 vehicles. Recommendations to provide shelter needs for public transportation passengers to the bus on the SMP 5 Yogyakarta is in the group 4 with a stopped bus stop without shelter. Location does not require shelter because the average number of passengers on the bus stop where â�¤ 15 orang/15menit. In zone 1 recommendation is applied to provide the needs of pedestrian facilities is a pelican crossing, because average the crossing flow more than 50 people/hour, and vehicle flow more than 1100 veh/hour, with a value of more than 2x108 PVÂ2, then in zone 1 using the pelican crossing crosswalk.
