- The rapid advances in information technology and the diversity of the community desires are two of many factors that put pressure on the organization, as well as the institutions of government. To overcome the pressure required an effort to improve the quality of service, supported by information technology. In government organizations, efforts to use information technology to improve the quality of public services called e-government. This effort is to develop a formbased implementation of electronic governance in order to improve the quality of public services effectively and efficiently. Badan Penelitian, Pengembangan dan Statistik (BPPS) of Nias Regency is one SKPD in the Nias District Government who perform tasks and functions in researching and developing various aspects of governance in Nias, ideally began from feasibility studies of development planning, planning of government organizational structure patterns, and even engaged in public policy making in the determination of the personnel in certain positions. The Strategic planning of information systems using Ward and Peppard methods. The results of the Strategic Plan is expected to be input or foundation in the development of e-government in BPPS Nias regency, so e-government are built to support the vision and mission of the organization and the achievement of the quality of public services effectively and efficiently.
