  • Project planning is a very important part in a project because it will serve as a guide in the implementation phase of the project. Reference of Project Planning is Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) which is made by Project Management Institute (PMI). PT PANL is a growing company and would like to have a database that can be used to obtain the correct information and fast, as a basis for decision making and also wanted to standardize its internal systems. PT PANL plans to use the ERP program and is in the process of making ERP Project Planning. This study aims to evaluate the ERP Project Planning PT PANL by comparing with the theory. Evaluation is done with the understanding that the Project Planning carried out in each company will get different results and follow the unique conditions of each company. Evaluation performed on the Project Planning for 9 stages of planning process, Integration Management, Scope Management, Time Management, Cost Management, Quality Management, Human Resource Management, Communications Management, Risk Management and Procurement Management. The study found several differences between ERP Project Planning phase is done PT PANL with the theory, which does not consider the risk of planning, cost planning and purchasing planning. The conclusion to be drawn is that the ERP Project Planning PT PANL part is in conformity with the theory, but there are some things that do not fit the theory, so it can be a weakness PT PANL at the implementation stage of the project.
