  • This thesis discusses about nominal clause in Arabic. Nominal clause is a clause that contributes meaning and understanding of a speaker to the listener by starting noun as the core of the sentence. This study uses the syntax theory that analyzes the language based on the internal structure of language itself. This study has two goals to be achieved, both are theoretical purpose and practical purpose. The theoretical results of this study is expected to complement and enrich the khazanah about characters of subject, the rules of subject from indefinite noun, sequence pattern of subject and predicate in nominal clause in Arabic, as well as the rules of deletion subject and the deletion of predicate. Whereas the practical results of this study is expected to give an important contribution in the Arabic language planning policy, particularly the form of nominal clause in Arabic. The research about this nominal clause uses distributional method, it is a method that analyzes specified lingual unit based on conduct or behavior that linguistic unit in relation to other units. So that it can be seen the clause is grammatically or not if the language unit or the element that is in that nominal clause is replaced or reversed or expanded. From the results of research conducted, it was found the necessarily unsure of nominal clause, the existence of the characters of subject, the rules of subject from indefinite noun. Also the general rules to choice subject and predicate if there are two indefinite noun in one clause, the pattern sequence that requires predicate is placed in front of subject. And the rules of subject deletion, the rules of predicate deletion, even rules of subject and predicate deletion as together.
