- This research is aimed to understand about implementation of Permenkes Number 269 year 2008 about Medical Record at Tarakan Local General Hospital (RSUD), the difficulties faced in the implementation of Permenkes Number 269 year 2008 about Medical Record at Tarakan Local General Hospital (RSUD) also the difficulties of the patients to gain their rights upon the contents of Medical Record. This research is empiric juridical law research that analyses the implementation of Permenkes Number 269 year 2008 about Medical Record at Tarakan Local General Hospital (RSUD). The research involves 16 respondents. Primary data obtained from the result of field and library research are analysed qualitatively and served descriptively. Based on the research, Tarakan Local General Hospital (RSUD) has implemented the role of Republic of Indonesia�s Minister of Public Health number 269/MENKES/PER/III/2008 about medical record determination that medical record must be written completely and clear. The medical record are implemented by Tarakan�s Local General Hospital for outpatient, hospitalised patient, and critical wounded patient
