- It has been done an experiment to determine the influence of stack from stainless material by varying mesh size (14, 20, 23, and 100 mesh) to temperature change in the cold and hot reservoir using a cylindrical resonator tube made of PVC pipe. The length of the resonator tube is 80 cm and diameter of 5,53 cm. The stack was placed λ/20 cm from the close edge of the resonator tube. The thermoacoustic device was operated at fixed frequency (f = 107 Hz) and fixed voltage about 15 volt. Stack with 14 mesh yield optimum difference temperature about 12,5 °C after 30 minutes of the device operation with the first temperature around 28 °C. By varying frequency about ± 1 Hz from the fixed frequency (f = 107 Hz), at the frequency about 104 Hz yield difference temperature about 12,3 °C. This result smaller than fixed frequency previously used. The optimum resonant occurs at f = 107 Hz
