  • Ambonese Malay is the varian of Malay that live and developed in East of Indonesia, that is in Province of Mollucas. Malay Ambonese which used as lingua franca by Ambonese people for especially and Province Mollucas for commonly is the kind of Market Malay that combined with local languages or dialects and foreign languages (Dutch and Portuguese) which conformed. Area of research is subdistrict of Sirimau and South of Leitimor, with the bulk of data were gathered in Naku village, South Leitimor subdistrict area. In this research is used descriptive method to describe about morphological verb that consist of affixation, reduplication, and compounding. Continuing this, described about morphophonemic verb affixes process and function and meaning about grammatical verbs of Ambonese Malay. To collect the datas is used scrutinize method with tapping technique, be continued with recording, writing, and interviewing. The datas is collected from native speakers and the writer as a native, then was did crosschecked to get it valid. Analyzing datas is used with technique of references, translations, and pragmatic method, that combined with distribution method.
