  • Digital measurement based photography dominated anthropometry measurement research lately and shift conventional measurement methods (using spreading and sliding caliper, antropometer and tape) that impractical and expensive if done in large number. However, some of previous research still study object who use tight clothes and not for veiled woman so it needs further study to research these conditions. Design of this digital anthropometry research was done by generate a model mathematic that supported by algorithm with easily understood. This research was conducted to 150 respondents randomly who have normal, underweight, and overweight BMI (Body Mass Index). Method for digital data measurement was done who object using belt and without belt on 11 points measurement. Conventional circumference measurement data was used as dependent factor and for independent factor used width, length that measured by digital. It is also include BMI as an independent factor. Linear regression formula was used to generate mathematic model from dependent and independent factors. Result of anthropometry measurement using mathematic model based on digital photograph and conventional show that R-Squared average each type of respondents without belt is 0.69 (men), 0.64 (veined women), and 0.71 (women). Major error is on upper arm and head because of hood usage, head shape characteristic and looser clothes thus reducing accuracy level. The result of this research also better than previous study that used elliptical model mathematic to measure all same points measurement (MAD previous study = 2.32, and MAD this research = 1.95), because BMI factor actually effect to measure circumference of human body.
