  • The objective of this study is to examine the effect of transparency and accountability of blockgrant management of Teacher Performance Group (KKG) in remote areas of Gunungkidul and Kulonprogo Regency towards teacher performance with including Supervisionas an intervening variable. The results of this study are to provide informationto the funder that is Central Governmentin this regards Ministry of Educationthat is representedby The EducationQuality Assurance Institution(LPMP)of Yogyakarta in order to know the benefits of transparency and accountability of blockgrant management, and supervision towards KKG in increasing the teacher performance. For the academics, the study is expected to give contribution on the relationshipbetweentransparency,accountability,supervisionand teacher performance. This study uses a quantitative approach of the Teacher Performance (KKG) in remote areas of Gunungkiduland KulonprogoRegency with the sample number of 102. The sample taking is using purposive sampling method. Variables are measured with using Likert scale with value range of 1 to 5
