- The aim of this studyis to determinethe role of entrepreneurial self-efficacy, uncertainty avoidance, and motivation to achieve in the emergence of risk taking behavior in online-based entrepreneur. The hypothesis of this study is the entrepreneurial self-efficacy, uncertainty avoidance and motivation to achieve contribute to the emergence of risk-taking behavior in online based-entrepreneur. The population in this study is the entrepreneurs who run a business by online media. The number of the subject is120 people(N =120). Data is retrieved byfour psychological scales i.e. the scale of risk-taking behavior ino nline entrepreneur, entrepreneurial self-efficacy scale, uncertainty avoidance scale andmotivation to achieve scale. The scale ofrisk-taking behavior in online-based entrepreneur consists of 9 items, entrepreneurial self-efficacy scale consists of 23 items, uncertainty avoidance scale consists of 7 items and motivation to achieve scale consists of 12 items. Exploratory factor analysis conducted toward the obtained data from questionnaires to obtain 16 factors of readiness factors, courage, strategic thinking, optimistic, visionary, strong, smart, creative, unyielding, anticipatory, flexible, adaptive . Readiness factors, courage, and strategic thinking is the result of exploratory variable risk taking behavior. Analysis of the 13 factors for of the readiness factors gave the F value of 7.743, p = 0.000, and R = 0487. For courage factor, F value of 7.873, P = 0.000, and R = 0.491, and the strategic thinking factor gave the F value of 5.423, p = 0.000, and R = 0.399. This shows that the hypothesis can be accepted
