  • This study aims to determine the role of Islamic boarding school Roudhotul Jannah in the Guali village of Kusambi District of Southeast Sulawesi in the cultivation of national values to students and their effects on region resilience. Boarding school, which is a religious educational institutions, has a social functioning in people's lives, which is trying to increase the activity of Islamic religious life, creating activities that can motivate a passion for worshiping, seeking the welfare of the community, unity and unity among the people even to the recognition of the nation state. This is a descriptive qualitative study that describes the dynamics and elements of education which are taught in Roudhotul Jannah boarding school as a whole, and describes the role of Roudhotul Jannah educational boarding school to national resilience, which is located in Muna District of Southeast Sulawesi. The technique of collecting data were observation, interviews and literature. Interviews was conducted with five students, one caregiver schools, two teachers/clerics and three daily administrative men of boarding school. The nature of the interview which is used in the interviews is in-depth interview and free interview. Other data which were also used are literary study of literature books and documents relating to the subject. These results of the study indicate that the role of schools in planting Roudhotul Jannah national values is performed by education through fostering spiritual faith in God and developing good character, educating tolerance toward intra-religious and inter-religious adherents, democracy, and independence. The cultivation of national values for the students has a positive effect on region resilience that includes aspects of ideology, politic, economy, socio-cultural, as well as aspects of resilience and security.
