- The banking is a vital tool in conducting payment transactions, both nationally and internationally. The banking business is a full of risks business. Completion of the banking system as a whole is indispensable. The flow of funds allocated to give credit to the debtor must be taken into account as quickly as possible. The process of credit lease to debtor is not expected to pose a new problem called default. The principle of 6C is made to avoid default from debtor. The application of this principle is expected not to be interfere debtors and complicate them in obtain the funds, but it is an attempt�s bank to anticipate. This study uses empirical juridical approach. The collection of data and information obtained from research of literature and interviews. The qualitative method is used to analyze the data studies. The result shows that PT. Redjo Bhawono as an Rural Bank in Yogyakarta has not fully implemented the 6C principles to release the credit, in particular for the principle number 6 Constraint. If one out of 6C principles is not met, the debtor remains have a credit loan but with nominal of credit less than early scheme to avoid default. Several factors that are obstructing credit loan to default are caused by internal factor such as internal banks and debtor. On the other hand, external factors can disturb credit loan to default as well, for example uncommon competition among banks, 6C principles, economic crisis, global economic conditions and force majeure.
