  • Wave is a manifestation of the forces acting on the fluid. Tidal wave generated by the attractive forces between the earth-moon-sun so that the periodic nature can be unpredictable. In this study does modeling, simulation and analysis of the tides at the Bay of Ambon and Spring Tide Neap Tide (each 24 hours) to obtain tidal flow patterns and an overview of the potential electric energy of the process. Performed numerical simulations (Mathematical Models wave length) using Quadratic Interpolation Method of Characteristics with the programming language Visual Basic (VB). The input wave at the open boundary condition that occurs in the mouth of the bay while around the bay is considered as closed and reflective boundary conditions. Excellent reflective boundary conditions are applied to the wave length, such as tidal waves. Modeled the flow pattern in the form of two-dimensional assumption, the flow is only affected by the tides. Simulations performed on the pre-engineering and engineering conditions of the channel with the channel width S = 150 m, using a? S = 200 m grid size (80 x 80)
